DEBORAH AGER

Born in 1978, Deborah Ager is an American editor, poet and essayist. Married to writer Bill Beverly, Deborah lives in Hyattsville, Maryland with her husband and daughter, Olive. A graduate of the Newfield Network coaching school as well as a member of the International Coach Federation and Coachville, she earned a BA in English and a MFA in creative writing. She is the founder of the Book Activation and the Dream Client Formula. Besides this, she also founded the poetry magazine called '32 poems' in 2003 with the famous poet John Poch. Deborah has published three books and co-edited various anthologies, including 'Old Flame: 10 Years of 32 Poems Magazine' with Bill Beverly and John Poch and 'The Bloomsbury Anthology of Contemporary Jewish American Poetry' with M.E. Silverman. She has won various awards and honours for her creditable contribution towards the English language, some of them being the Tennessee Williams scholarship to the Sewanee Writers’ Conference, a Maryland State Arts Council Grant, two revenue generation awards from the American Red Cross, writing residencies from the MacDowell Colony and Virginia Center for the Creative Arts and a Mid-Atlantic Arts Council Grant. Some of her famous works include 'The Lights and Lessons of Toro Nagashi, the Japanese Candle Boat Ceremony', '10 Free Meditations to Encourage Restful Sleep,' ,'From the Fishouse' and 'The Problem With Describing Men'. A woman of utter fame and honour, Deborah Ager continues to inspire today's youth to pursue their dreams.
